Effective September 25, 2026. This notice describes how Wild Caught Seafood Exchange handles information used by the app and its optional text message notifications.

Information used

The app stores account information such as name, email, role, vessel or market affiliation, and mobile number. It also stores loads, bids, hoist bookings, market needs, replies, and related activity. When you choose text notifications, the app stores your choices and when you opted in. Message delivery records and replies may also be stored.

How information is used

Information is used to operate the exchange, show authorized users the records relevant to their roles, send optional notifications, support two-way market-need conversations, secure accounts, and maintain backups. Other authorized app users may see transaction or conversation details according to their role.

Mobile information and sharing

Mobile numbers, text opt-in information, and consent records are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text service providers and mobile carriers process information needed to deliver messages and replies. Hosting and backup providers process app data to operate and protect the service.

Text choices

Text messages are optional. After signing in, you can choose separate notification categories in My Account. Message frequency varies with app activity. Message and data rates may apply. You can turn a category off in My Account or reply STOP to opt out of texts. See the Text Message Terms.
